Another musician who unfortunately succumbed to drug addiction at a young age was Slipknot’s bassist, Paul Gray. Behind the mask that members are known to wear, was a man with pure talent. He had a brush with death once when he crashed into another car and was found to be driving over the speed limit, with drugs in his possession. Despite this drug disease, his doctor continued to prescribe high doses of morphine that finally resulted in an overdose. He was found in a hotel room, having left behind a wife and young child. Corey Taylor, lead singer of Slipknot paid tribute to the late bassist with a tattoo of him on his leg.
