Gang member, criminal and convict, El Diablo is maybe the most human of all the other Squad members. He doesn’t kill for the thrill, but is rather goaded on to convert his natural ability – pyrokinesis for wrongdoing. Though there are many versions of the character within the DC Universe, the one that Jay takes on is in reference to Chanto Santana. The whole skull face thing and the biceps are something to thrill the masses.
