She is the oldest person to have lived who originated from the state of Alabama in the United States and was born on July 16, 1875 and died on March 21, 1993. The American supercentenarian claimed to be the world’s oldest living person at the time, but with investigation, it was disputed that she was one year younger than what she claimed (she was probably THE only woman in the world who said she is older than she actually is!). However, she died peacefully having been verified to being 117 years and 248 days. There isn’t much known about her as she died at a time when the Internet and Wikipedia didn’t rule!
