Prepare for this bizarre story – because it is weirder than the one about a man marrying his blow-up doll. A Taiwanese citizen by the name of Chang Hsi-hsum married a Barbie doll at his local Buddhist temple. The reason? It goes back 20 years when his human wife committed suicide because his family was against him marrying her. He says that his late spouse’s spirit lives in the doll and in order to seek forgiveness and appease the Barbie-residing soul, his family encouraged the union. More surprising is that even though he claims he still loves his slain wife, he remarried soon after her death and even his latest partner agreed to this matrimony. Apparently the doll was decked out in jewelry and clothing worn by the former bride.
