The Final Ride

During the Summer holidays, we as kids visited amusement parks or went to the local fair to win a soft toy at a game. But when it came to Amy, 13 was when she found true love – in the form of a roller coaster. She reminisces: “I was instantly attracted to him sexually and mentally. I wasn’t freaked out, as it just felt so natural, but I didn’t tell anyone about it because I knew it wasn’t ‘normal’ to have feelings for a fairground ride.” She says she has ridden the coaster more than 3,000 times before finally committing to it forever. She has pictures and spare nuts and bolts on her person at all times so she can keep a part of “him” with her at all times. And, she doesn’t mind other revelers “riding” her husband.
